… is a production designer/art director/set designer, multimedia artist, outdoor enthusiast, and board sport obsessionist, avid cyclist, sometime music maker, former touring lighting / stage designer

based in Brooklyn...and sometimes ATL...and formerly/still occasionally LA.


He began working on small film and video projects in Athens, GA while still a student at the University of Georgia. Beau landed his first gig in feature filmmaking in 2013 as a casting department assistant on The Spectacular Now, starring Brie Larson, Miles Teller, and Shailene Woodley.

Over the next several years, he worked in the art department on larger features like Insurgent (2015), The Nice Guys (2016), and Passengers (2016), and independent films such as Beach Rats (2017).

Making the jump from Atlanta to NYC in 2016 - shortly thereafter, Beau received the opportunity to design and fabricate a unique lighting / stage environment that he travelled with and operated for 2 months around NA and Europe for the band Preoccupations (Calgary, CA)

After spending the majority of 5 years production designing, art directing, fabricating and general set work for commercials and fashion/product campaigns between NYC-ATLANTA-LA, in 2021 Beau joined IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829 in the Set Designer / Art Director category.

A proud member of IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829 since 2021 in the set design & art director category, Beau has mainly focused on narrative, working on various TV projects including Showtime’s Flatbush Misdemeanors, Comedy Central’s Awkwafina is Nora From Queens, ABC’s Everything’s Trash and the highly anticipated indie feature, Cat Person (2023).

Tepper is formerly a co-founder and manager/agent with Left Brain Artist Management in Athens GA. Additionally, he is Founder/CEO of Hot Grits Records, an independent record label formerly based in Athens GA (and later Brooklyn NY), putting out high quality vinyl records for artists such as Triathalon (Brooklyn, NY) and What Moon Things (Brooklyn, NY) . At last, his management roster of artists included New Madrid (Athens, GA), Muuy Biien (Atlanta, GA), and What Moon Things (Brooklyn, NY).

Additionally spent 6+ years as a touring & venue house lighting designer / operator.
